Nic hopes to extend Blues deal

NICOLAS ANELKA wants to open talks over a new contract with Chelsea.

The French striker has two years left to run on his current deal.

But he is eager to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge having settled in West London.

His agent Doug Pingisi said: "I think we will be having talks with Chelsea next week about Nicolas' contract.

"Nicolas has two years left on his present contract and I think Chelsea would like to extend it.

"We plan to sit down and have talks with Chelsea about Nicolas' future."

Drogba and Florent Malouda have already agreed new deals with the Blues this summer.
